Hey! Your 3900X is showing higher voltage and temperatures during idle. Try checking the cooling system, fan settings, or power supply connections. If the issue persists, it might be worth consulting the manual or a support channel. Thanks!

It's typical for peak voltage to exceed 1.4V when a single core or a small number of cores are rapidly loaded for a brief duration. Your average voltage appears around 0.5V.

Alright thank you for the awnser ! And the temps are good to ? 40° Seems high for hidle. HwMonitor shows 65° i dont know why.

3900X usually runs low at temperatures between 40–45°C on typical air coolers, which is expected. Don't rely on HWmonitor; this model isn't reliable. Go with HWinfo instead.

Y 3600 frequently reaches 1.45 plus at times, Ryzen tends to boost a few cores with extra voltage

You're wondering why your voltage stays around 1.25-1.30 despite low system activity, especially since it drops to 0.9x when idle. It seems unusual but not impossible. The behavior might differ between your 3950X and 3900X models.

Do you have the latest chipset drivers installed and are you using the Ryzen Balanced power plan? Are there any background applications running, such as those managing RGB lighting?

I was planning to mention that I installed them earlier this week, but then I realized AMD released an updated version today. I'm using an X470 board, so I performed the update. Although it feels slightly lower, it remains well above 1V. I'm running the Ryzen Balanced plan, testing different processor states, but nothing significantly changes. There are many background processes, yet none that heavily utilize the CPU. Ryzen Master usually tops the list when active, but it stays under 1% so I’m unsure if anything keeps my cores awake. They mostly sit idle at 2-400 MHz. Shouldn’t they enter sleep mode? I’ve attached a screenshot of the RAM, perhaps someone will notice something interesting.

I realized I had CPU Virtualization turned on for running VMware, but it seems the cores aren't shutting down properly.
