Hello, I'm facing a challenge. I recently bought an i7 6700k, g.skill Ripjaws 8GB DDR4 RAM, and an Asus Pro Gaming motherboard. Before that, I used FX 8320, with an R9 390X GPU and a 620W PSU. I expected better performance but only saw small gains. While playing those games, my CPU usage was high while my GPU stayed under 90%. I noticed others in videos had near 100% GPU usage with minimal CPU load. I tried adjusting settings like priority and affinity, but nothing changed. I updated all drivers except the OS, but haven't reinstalled it yet. Is this hardware issue or is the software not working well? The only game with perfect GPU usage is ME: Shadow of Mordor, which runs perfectly.

I'm not sure, but I can look for options that match those specifications and similar circumstances.

I'm checking the frame rates you're seeing. They should align with the reviews for the R9 390X at your current settings and resolution.

Your current configuration affects how many frames the CPU processes, leading to increased load and potential performance strain. Higher settings reduce preparation time but consume more resources, resulting in lower FPS.

My frame rate fluctuates between 35 and 55, reaching 1920x1080p at high settings. I rarely come across videos featuring an i7 6700k or r9 390x; most only achieve stable 50-60+ fps under full GPU usage.

Did you think about memory consumption? My usage often reaches 7.5gb during 1080p gaming... it might be worth upgrading that part.
