It's definitely true. The price is quite high, but the 155mm height means your PC case needs to accommodate it. You can verify this if you're familiar with your case setup.

They seem better suited for setups without a GPU generating extra heat, or with strong airflow to balance it out. On my end, the 12400 reaches 85°C during heavy use, but it runs without a GPU—just multiple hard drives, which is typical for servers or NAS units.
