I changed the pads to gelid extremes 1.5mm and used arctic mx-5 paste on my 3080ti FE. At first, I applied a lot of paste and temperatures dropped, but GPU temps rose. Someone advised me I had too much paste, so I reduced it. Now after playing GTA 5 (1440p max), the temperatures are normal except for a hot spot. Should I worry? Is there an issue and how can I fix it?
