High temperature surges with updated 5600x resolution
You've noticed some unusual behavior during program loading on your new 5600X. The brief temperature increases you're seeing are likely due to the CPU throttling or thermal management when it detects a load spike. This isn't uncommon and can be normal under certain conditions. The fact that your temps remain stable otherwise suggests the issue is specific to those moments. You might want to monitor temperatures closely during intensive tasks and consider adjusting BIOS settings if possible. If the problem persists, checking cooling solutions or consulting manufacturer support could help.
It's not that significant. A sudden spike in power usage usually causes the temperature to increase rapidly...
I completely agree, I also use a 5600x and encounter the same issue.
It runs hot quickly after overclocking—stays warm at around 50°C, but hits 75°C almost instantly when you put it under full load. Once it’s off, it cools down to about 90°C in roughly two seconds.
