Hello, my Ryzen 3600 is overheating quite a bit. The idle temps often spike between 40-48°C, but the max idle reaches 63°C (see attached image). During gameplay it climbs to 70-78°C. A cooler from Corsair, the Hydro Series H80i V2 seems to perform better than my previous setup with the Scythe Ninja 5 and even lower temps in AIDA64. In particular, the I9 on my Ryzen 3600 runs about 14°C cooler in AIDA64 compared to the Ryzen 3600 itself. Where could the issue be? Thanks! 1. All fans are correctly aligned 2. No dust cover under the CPU 3. I've replaced the cooler several times without success 4. I haven't overclocked the CPU: motherboard is MSI B450 Mortar, cooler is Corsair Hydro Series H80i V2, GPU is EVGA GeForce RTX 3080, case is Be Quiet Pure Base 500

Thanks for the feedback. It seems the issue might not be the cooler. Since both coolers work fine for the Ryzen 3600, I could consider testing another PC case with improved airflow.

It seems like you're suggesting testing the setup by using the side panel first. This would help ensure everything functions properly before relocating it to a new case.

Check if the BIOS on the board is current. Determine the CPU's operating voltage during maximum use. See if you've adjusted the voltage settings within the BIOS.

Thanks for the feedback. I ran the test with the side panel off and the temperature stayed nearly consistent (idle and AIDA64).

Meeting the displayed limit of around 85 with an average in the high 70s seems reasonable. No major adjustments needed—conditions are safe though not ideal.
