A gigabit typically supports full duplex on each port. This means a 5-port Gigabit switch can deliver 1 gigabit going and 1 gigabit coming from each port. https://eu.dlink.com/uk/en/products/dgs-...itch#Specs Naturally that limits the speed to 1 gigabit per port, so all devices connected to that switch must share that bandwidth.
