Recently upgraded my internet after being at 1.2Mbits/s for years to 50Mbits/s. Unless I'm missing something, I should be getting 6.25Mb/s actual download however I'm currently ranging between 500Kb/s and 1.2Mb/s. Information for reference: All connections are via wifi Desktop gets 30Mbits/s but downloads at 500Kb/s - 1.2Mb/s Laptop gets 50Mbits/s but downloads at 500Kb/s - 1.2Mb/s Phone is the same as the laptop. Not sure why the desktop is slower than everything else. I recently added an Intel wifi 6 AX200 160MHz network card. Any help would be great.. I'm pounding my head against the wall at the minute..

No, I didn't replace your modem during the upgrade.

The agreement included receiving a fresh router. I moved to a 4G model with EE.

Connect your computer straight to the modem, turn off the router temporarily, and check your internet performance.

I should have noted the difference. I’m using a router instead of a modem, and the SIM card is inside the 4G router, leaving no other connection options.

They mentioned it might be related to the reception or setup. They suggested reaching out to the service provider for assistance.

You're asking about the source of a download, but no specific file or context was provided. Could you clarify which file or link you're referring to?

I've never come across this before. It seems to be a type of mobile access point, but it doesn't actually move around? That doesn't sound right...

It's mainly in rural regions lacking fiber optics, yet 4G coverage is available.
