I attempted the task requested by FloWolf. My configurations for both the adapter and NAS remained manually set. Despite this, the transfer speed stayed around 200mb/s. I’m unsure what else to try.

Synology might not include an Array Benchmark tool, possibly limiting your options. It could be that the issue lies with your array rather than your network setup.

Unless your device is operating under heavy CPU usage, adjusting the MTU to 9000 won't improve performance. Consider using parallelization with iperf. Windows performs poorly at 10GbE speeds, as observed in my testing. Adding the "-p 4" flag to the iperf command may help.

The data below shows what I observed: Regarding "something wrong with your array," I need to understand exactly what's going on. Everything seems configured correctly, and there are no errors or mistakes so far. Adjusting the adapter settings greatly affects performance, which I don't understand. For example, flow control is recommended, but turning it off for the X550 works while doing so for the Asus adapter doesn't. I decided to try a 50GB transfer instead of the usual 5GB. You're definitely not reaching gigabit speeds, but the data is right in front of you. I removed all unnecessary output from your iperf3 test. Running four parallel sessions gives you 5Gbits per second. Increase the parallelism to -p 6 and observe the change. Then attempt -p 8. You'll notice diminishing returns as you add more parallel tasks. Still give it a shot.
