High settings cause major issues, please help!
The issue occurs because your GPU is struggling under high settings, possibly due to insufficient power or thermal throttling. The combination of a GTX 3060 and a Ryzen 5 3600 might not provide enough performance at those settings, leading to choppy gameplay. Checking cooler airflow, updating drivers, or lowering settings could help.
I realized the issue was with my freeSync monitor and the fact I had an AMD card, which I hadn’t considered. I’m not entirely confident G-Sync performs as smoothly on mine, but it’s still better than before.
