I intend to purchase a new display, although I’ll primarily utilize it for graphic design alongside some fast-paced gaming at 144 frames per second. I’m establishing a home workspace dedicated to artistic endeavors and am planning to replace my existing computer system for this purpose. It will largely serve as a platform for digital art creation and photo manipulation. Here are the specifications:

* Intel Core i5 2400
* 8 GB of RAM
* Nvidia GTX 950 with 2 GB of VRAM

My concern is whether the AOC G2U 144Hz gaming monitor offers sufficient color precision for my needs. Additionally, will my graphics card be capable of smoothly running Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at a reasonable frame rate? If not, could you suggest alternative monitor models that might be more suitable? Thank you.

I’m uncertain regarding the shade, but I believe you'll achieve respectable frame rates. Check this link:

If you’re utilizing VA or IPS panel technology, expect reliable color precision.

Would you be able to provide the specific product model?

Considering those parameters, I'd be concerned about the power supply unit’s quality and its years of use. Furthermore, I believe you would likely require a more powerful unit to comfortably achieve 1080p at 144 frames per second with that particular monitor. While you could certainly play at 144Hz, it would necessitate a lower resolution, but discussions online indicate that some users have experienced issues...
