You're restricted to around 5600/X on that board. The MSI B550M PRO VDH costs £20 extra, though the lowest price isn't on Amazon.
It would function well, though as @lee32uk mentioned you can't upgrade your CPU. I don't mind much since there won't be many more compatible CPUs, and you might eventually need a new motherboard. However, if the B550 Pro fits your budget somehow, it's the better choice overall.
I planned to use the 5600 because I realized the extra performance isn’t worth the 20% price hike. Even without hitting peak speeds, PCIe Gen 3 supports both the GTX 1080 and the 5600, which is a solid choice. It offers good value, and I can upgrade the board later while keeping other components intact.
