Hey everyone, I just upgraded my PC and now it's running a Ryzen 9 3900X on the Asus rog strix x570-i with Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3600 16GB. After setting everything up and sealing the case, I started hearing a high-pitched noise coming from inside. It’s tricky to pinpoint exactly where it’s coming from—maybe the chipset fan? Since it’s an ITX build, finding it could be tough. If it’s the fan, is that typical behavior? The sound is really loud and bothersome. What can I do to quiet it down?
It seems most x570 chipsets include a passive cooling feature in the UEFI settings. Check your system for similar options, though I can't guide you through specific brands like Asus or Ryzen. If the problem continues without fan activity, it likely points to another issue. Possible culprits could be GPU-related coil whine or problems with your power supply unit.
