Hello Everyone
I've been online for a while trying to find solutions for the bad ping problem I'm experiencing while gaming. I usually play on EU servers; though I understand high ping is a problem if I'm from India, I recently moved to the UAE and it's closer to EU servers than when I played from India.
Unfortunately, I still encounter really poor ping, even worse than before. I've checked all the online suggestions but nothing helps. It becomes really frustrating when the game starts lagging and then suddenly jumps back up.
I don't know what to do to fix this issue, any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello there! Could you share which game or server you're using? We'll need details about your networking equipment—adapters, routers, and any devices connected to your router. Also, let me know the type of service your ISP provides.

I generally play Battlefield 5 on EU servers and use a fiber optic modem/router.
My networking adapter is an Intel wireless card with an AC 9560 at 160 MHz.
Most of my devices are connected to the router—primarily my laptop and a few mobile phones. I usually disable Wi-Fi for the phones while playing games.
As for the service I’m on, I’m not entirely sure because I’m only here temporarily, so I don’t have complete information.

Yesterday, playing the game was really annoying because I kept getting a very slow 200ms ping and sometimes it spiked up to 999ms. My character moved awkwardly across the map, and the screen kept freezing and stuttering, which made me give up after a strong sigh.
