Hello, your setup is quite intense. The temperatures hitting 86°C in just a few minutes is concerning. Consider adjusting cooling parameters or improving airflow to prevent overheating.

Did you take off the sticker from the bottom of the heat sink?
Did you apply the right quantity of thermal paste?
Did you tighten the screws correctly? (Loose or overly tight can harm performance)

AMD confirms the Ryzen 5000 series CPUs can reach temperatures up to 90°C or more. Cinebench serves as a performance benchmark. An 86 rating seems normal. Such high scores are unlikely in real-world use cases like games. There doesn’t appear to be any significant reason for worry.

My OCed 5900X performs well in Cinebench up to 90°C within 30 seconds on a 280mm AIO, without throttling. This indicates it operates at its maximum capacity given energy and thermal limits, with all cores running at 4.55GHz as intended. In RL scenarios, it stays below 80°C, making the Cinebench reading less accurate.

Your current environment isn't matching the expected pressure for optimal performance.
