Hello, I just assembled a gaming PC with an r9 390 and an i5 4690k. When playing Minecraft occasionally, I’m stuck at around 60 frames per second no matter how I adjust the settings. My performance stays at 100 FPS max. I’m trying to figure out why it can’t reach higher speeds.

Consider increasing the memory allocation. This approach is suitable for most users.

No, I didn't adjust the FPS cap in the settings.

Additionally, if increasing RAM doesn't help, experiment with configurations like VSync, VBOs, and consider reducing graphics quality. Adjust render distance and smooth lighting if needed.

I attempted to increase memory and adjust configurations, but the results remain unchanged regardless of the settings used.

Are your drivers current? It seems like a common query, but here we go—did you connect your monitor to the dedicated GPU or inside the motherboard? Have you enabled high performance settings for your PC? By the way, Minecraft is one of those games that runs pretty poorly on PCs.
