Hey everyone, checking out a suitable CPU cooler for the 5800X3D. I’m considering going back to my Ryzen 7 3700X stock fan—thought it might work.

The same cooler works perfectly since it uses the identical power connector, allowing it to rest on top without any issues.

The 3700x stock cooler should work perfectly, though the temperatures might vary. It’s better to use it and check performance rather than guessing.

It doesn't accommodate that power level. The Wraith Prism suits systems up to 140 watts. The 5800X3D comes in stock at 142 watts PPT. Boosting it will bring its output near a practical 180 watts thermal capacity. Supports 360 AIO or more.
