High-performance computing systems experiencing complete processor utilization.
Regarding my recent foray into PC gaming and computing, here are my system specifications:
Processor: Intel Core i7-9700F (4.7 GHz Turbo) with 8 cores and a base clock of 3.0 GHz.
Motherboard: Compatible with Intel Chipset – ASUS, MSI, or ASRock models.
Graphics Card: One GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER featuring 8GB of VRAM.
I primarily play Modern Warfare and have observed consistent performance, however, I intend to incorporate streaming and multitasking into my gameplay sessions. Despite this smooth operation, I’ve encountered a persistent issue: during in-game lobby preparation, the CPU consistently operates at 50-70%, yet immediately upon game commencement, it spikes to 95-100% utilization throughout the entire experience. I've explored various forum discussions and adjusted graphical settings both within the game and through Windows Power Options, seeking additional strategies for resolution.
Utilizing Nvidia’s NVENC for streaming offers greater efficiency compared to CPU-based encoding. Regarding the elevated CPU utilization, this appears to be a frequently encountered problem within the MatrixWorld application. Initially, verify that no power-saving settings are active on your system. Furthermore, several users have suggested limiting the maximum frame rate.
Optimizing system performance with High Performance settings allows for potential streaming capabilities; however, elevated processor usage while gaming presents a concern. The computer’s recent acquisition mitigates the risk of premature hardware failure.
