Hey everyone, after a year and a few months with my new PC, I began to wonder if my temperatures were rising more than before. I hadn't made any changes to the BIOS and double-checked everything first. While running tasks, my CPU temperature climbed to 90°C–92°C (the screens don’t show the limit because it’s a bit cooler in my room). Previously, it was around 70°C to 75°C. My CPU is operating in high performance mode (4.6Ghz, 1.32V), and during idle it stays between 36–40°C. Also, my fans spin at 2000 RPM or more? Could there be an issue with the pump? No worries, @Shimejii. For an i7 9700K, a 240mm AIO or air cooler is a solid choice. Make sure to check compatibility with your motherboard and ensure good airflow for optimal cooling.

That's impressive. You paired a high-performance processor with an inadequate cooling solution in a case notorious for high CPU temps. Honestly, you didn't think much about it. A better air cooler such as the Fuma 2 would handle the heat more effectively.
The Artic Liquid Freezer II is a solid cooler option. For top choices, consider the NH-D15 Aircooler or Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro if you're looking for better air cooling.
DRP 4 isn't the top choice for the best air cooler. D15, Zalman's model, Assassin 3, Le Grand Macho RT, Cryorig R1 Ultimate and similar options outperform it.
The quadriplegic had no prior experience with PCs and mostly assembled them based on recommendations. Appreciate the caution about the case. I’ll look into getting a budget for a new cooler soon, ideally replacing the stock CPU since it’s essential for work. Thanks again!
The Zalmans cooler isn't worth the installation trouble but works okay. I've never heard of the Macho. As long as they stay within 1-2 degrees and don't exceed 45 dB, it's fine. You shouldn't install a cooler at 53-60 dB just because it's better, so that factor matters too.
