I tried a little overclock and adjusted the BIOS settings. Stress testing was enabled in Windows. After four hours, the room got very hot—reaching a peak of 87°C for the CPU. I saw the rear exhaust fan pushing hot air straight into the cables at the back of the case. Could prolonged heat exposure harm those cables?

These coatings are designed to withstand temperatures beyond what a typical computer can reach. Some cables even list heat ratings for your entertainment.
