Hi! For your home setup, a single affordable router might work, but a mesh system with two mid-range ones usually offers better coverage and reliability. If you're looking for budget-friendly options under 80 USD or 5000 INR, consider models like the TP-Link Archer AX85G or Netgear Nighthawk R7000.

Your home spans several floors, with multiple devices connected. I usually prefer the nicer routers, as they often come with stronger processors, more RAM, improved cooling, and better performance under load. They also tend to receive more updates. But this isn’t always the case, and higher cost doesn’t guarantee better quality.

Sorry, my home is one level, 1600 square feet with three bedrooms, a hallway and kitchen for all electronics, a TV, four phones, and two laptops. Appreciate the response.

A reasonable-sized home without overwhelming a single router works well. My mom’s place is about the same size, and I placed a router in the living room for consistent coverage. If you opt for a mesh system that fits your budget, it can be a smart choice without limiting your options.

Following that path, I understand your action, but I’m considering a single AP route instead. Appreciate the guidance!
