Hey guys, I've been facing serious performance problems lately with what were supposed to be simple games. I don't know why it's happening. For example, CS:GO now only gives me around 100 fps even though it was running at over 300 before, and PUBG tanks down to 10-20 frames whenever I move the mouse. Divinity Original Sin 2 still works fine, but all other games have suffered major drops in performance. My PC specs are: i7-6700k at 4.6 GHz, Gigabyte 1080 8Gb, 16Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4, MSI Z170 Krait Gaming 3X, Corsair H110i. I ran a benchmark and everything seems to be normal, so it probably isn't a hardware issue. I updated Windows and my NVIDIA drivers recently, but nothing seems to help. Afterburner showed normal in-game temperatures too. I'm really stuck now and just trying to find a solution so I can play games with friends again.

DDU? I've already reinstalled the fresh drivers, that was one of the first steps I took.

Used DDU to reinstall drivers, but nothing worked. Discovered that when I'm in a Discord call and move my mouse, the audio disappears, but only on Discord. Moving the mouse also makes my game frames drop extremely.

Hi
Consider using the video driver you previously used before the issue began.
I had to switch back to older drivers more often with my GTX 1080 than with any other card I had.
It’s my second least preferred Nvidia card ever.
