My system consists of a Radeon 7 2700X and a 5700XT graphics card, running updated drivers. Frame rates in GTA 5 range from 30 to 90 FPS depending on settings and location. I am achieving frame rates lower than those reported in benchmarks, specifically below 100 FPS on good settings. I have 16GB of GSkill RAM and require assistance optimizing my performance.

Provide full hardware specifications including exact power supply model number, CPU cooler model, case fan cooling configuration (including location of any case fans and direction of airflow for each case fan), case model, drives, motherboard model, etc. Also, specify which exact slots memory is installed in and whether the XMP profile is enabled in the BIOS. Finally, confirm if the most recent motherboard BIOS version is installed.

I have my RAM in the A2 and B2 slots as it specifies, and I haven’t checked the motherboard BIOS since building my PC six months ago.

Is XMP enabled?
Provide full hardware specifications.
Identify the Windows version.
Describe the installation method: was it a clean install, or an upgrade with multiple spring and fall updates without a clean install?

What resolution and Hz are you using?
Is your GPU or CPU exceeding 75°C?
GTA V is poorly optimized; I experience similar frame rates with a 2080 Ti at 4K Ultra settings with Maximum Anti-Aliasing.
The most demanding section of the game is the initial Trevor mission.
Performance at 1440p is typical for a 5700XT.
