I started playing Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005 after finding the disk in one of my drawings during a cleanout. I noticed the resolution is limited to 1280x1024, which makes it look stretched on my screen. Can I adjust it to 1920x1080 or modify the aspect ratio to prevent distortion?

Ensure the game was saved with widescreen support or modded for it. Older titles often struggle on current displays. Consider using black bars or windowed mode to improve visibility.

I encountered the same issue with Most Wanted 2 as well. Perhaps check your graphics driver settings to adjust the resolution, otherwise it seems unlikely.

When I played Just Cause (original), it didn't work in widescreen. I searched online and someone created a mod to fix that. You can look for one for that game, or adjust your resolution to show black bars and it should display properly.

Search for modifications that allow wider aspect ratios and higher resolutions. If the game accepts them, consider switching rendering software to unlock access to larger screens.
