Because of YouTube's heavy compression, it doesn't really matter much. Still, maintain the bitrate!

YouTube’s compression isn’t as harsh as many think. For optimal 1080p quality, use native resolution recording at a bitrate of 20-50mbps.

The situation has improved, though it remains unsatisfactory.

It's a native recording with a solid bitrate around 50 Mbps. For a 60fps video at 1080p, maintaining 50 Mbps is feasible. If you're capturing at 30 frames per second and upscaling to 4K, you can achieve great quality.

I’ve been producing YouTube videos for three years now. I think I understand my topic well.

And I see, there are clips on YouTube that seem low quality—whether made by experts, hobbyists, or somewhere in between

The file size depends on what you're downloading or streaming at that speed. At 50 Mbps, a typical download might range from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the content and your device.

I also wanted to mention something. Honestly, it’s terrible. When you look at Source Twitch, Vimeo or similar platforms, it falls short.

50 divided by 8 multiplied by the total seconds in your clip equals 1,125MB.
