I purchased Splinter Cell Blacklist from Humble Bundle using a torrent download, and my speed is limited to 6.1kb/s at 92%. Despite uploading nearly 2MB per second continuously, I’m still experiencing this cap. What could be causing it? Anyone have suggestions on how to improve the performance?

no one is adding files, which means no downloads occur; your upload might be interfering with the process.

It seems like the only choices left are that no one is seeding or that something unexpected changed. I thought it was odd since I was downloading around 8MB until it reached about 6KB, and my average is over 140MB down and 20MB up. I’m not sure there’s more to torrenting I should look into, but I feel like someone might have switched tactics. If Humble Bundle offers the torrent as a downloadable file, they’d likely have their own seeders, so if bandwidth is an issue, it makes sense they’d let me keep going just long enough. Anyway, DDLing now—another hour of waiting. FWP

The access to the required data pieces is likely limited. With more individuals obtaining them, or additional ones going live, your speed should improve.
