High Aiflow Case Fan or Static Pressure Case Fan is suitable for Corsair H110i GT.
High Aiflow Case Fan or Static Pressure Case Fan is suitable for Corsair H110i GT.
I own a Corsair Carbide 400c mid tower case and also have the Corsair H110i GT, which features a 280mm air cooler. I plan to install the CPU cooler in front of the case. I understand that strong airflow fans are ideal for this setup because placing a radiator ahead of the Corsair Carbide 400c is straightforward, as the case fan already provides ample airflow resistance. However, JayzTwoCents suggested using a static pressure fan if you were to mount case fans on a radiator. My question is: should I choose a high airflow case fan or a static pressure case fan?

Use static pressure fans to cool radiators or close up objects, as this is their intended purpose. They typically offer significantly higher CFM. The built-in fans are SP on your cooler. You could also consider Corsair ML fans, which provide both SP and AF capabilities.
Use static pressure fans to cool radiators or seal objects. This is their intended purpose. They typically offer significantly greater CFM. The original fans are SP on your cooler. You could also consider Corsair ML fans, which provide both SP and AF capabilities.
Always employ static pressure fans to cool radiators or seal objects. They are built for this purpose and typically offer significantly higher CFM. The standard fans are SP on your cooler. You might also consider Corsair ML fans, which provide both SP and AF performance.
This setup works very well for the AiO radiator. Position it as an exhaust, directing air through the radiator and pushing it out via static pressure fans. The front should act as an intake using airflow fans.

This product works much better for AiO radiator. It should be used as an exhaust, with air pushed through the radiator and out the top using static pressure fans. The front can act as an intake with airflow fans.
I won’t install a radiator or any AIO on the top of the case. I’m just curious about which case fan is best for the mounts on the rear and top. Should I use a high airflow fan or a static pressure fan? I just want to fill all available mounts on the case, with the AIO placed at the front.
