Hey everyone, new to the discussions but familiar here for a while. I’m looking for some tips on a recent build. I installed an Asus TUF X570 motherboard and wanted a clean white/teal and black aesthetic across all components and RGB settings. I’m mostly satisfied except with the RGB lighting on the board—it always shows a yellow tint on its surface. It looks like it’s not fully transparent, just with a yellow hint that’s not ideal. The side glow of the RGB works fine, but it messes up the overall appearance when you look at the board itself. (Attached photo). I was considering covering the front with tape or paint to fix the issue. Any suggestions? Mike PS Yes, I understand the NZXT logo placement is intentional—I’ve painted it on the front so they align properly.
Tape seems to be a strong option. I'm concerned it could become sticky if the case gets warm.
I applied a strip of electrical tape across your motherboard's vivid red (in the blue system) A0 code. It works perfectly.
I appreciate the gentle illumination from the LEDs, though the display face isn't as appealing. It offers a soft side light but displays a strong yellow hue in front.
That's right, electrical tape is perfect for securing connections.
