Hidden directories are files and folders that aren't visible in the standard view.
Hello, I've switched my HDD to an SSD on Windows 10, but I'm having trouble accessing the E:\Users folder. I can see my regular folders and some standard Windows directories, but the Users folder is missing. Specifically, I need to view the Documents, Download, Pictures, and Videos sections. Please help me resolve this issue.
The folders are concealed by default. Access Windows Explorer in the folder settings and select "Show hidden or system files and folders" to reveal them. View > Options > Change folder view and options. After reinstalling Windows on the SSD—rather than simply copying data from an old drive—the account remains distinct, even with identical names and passwords. Consequently, folders on your personal drive or installation are treated as belonging to another user, regardless of shared credentials. You can utilize tools that allow you to claim ownership and gain full control over files and folders, such as TakeOwnership Pro or the Edit context menu options.
