Hi there, my computer isn't finding that specific Radeon 540X graphics card?
I am new here on the forum and don't know how to upload pictures. My computer is an Acer Aspire A315-43G, but it has two graphics cards: one built-in Intel chip called Vega 8, and another dedicated card from AMD named Radeon 540X. I can't use the Radeon card because my laptop doesn't see it at all. It does not even show up in Device Manager. I tried fixing this by uninstalling drivers with a tool called DDU, but nothing helps much except when the card actually shows up. Most of the time, the laptop just says the card is gone or fake. Even if I turn off Windows updates and try to install the newest driver version every day, it still doesn't work properly. Sometimes it works for a few days, then suddenly stops again in 3 months straight. I looked at other forums before but my issue was probably not understood there too. The laptop keeps acting like the Radeon card isn't plugged in or working. Please give me some good advice on how to solve this problem so I can finally get my graphics card recognized properly. Have a nice day
Once I downloaded Acer Care Center, my problem was fixed. However, that fix might just be a temporary thing. The real answer to whether it's really fixed or if there are still issues comes tomorrow. Thanks so much for getting back to me.
