Hi! I'm setting up a gaming PC for the first time in almost ten years. Need some assistance! Thanks!
I assembled my gaming PC back in 2013 and it has performed well over the years. You really contributed to its creation! But sadly, all good things eventually end. I poured tea down the vent and now it frequently crashes, hoping it doesn’t stop as I type this. I’m thinking of switching to something like Ibuypower or a similar site and buying a pre-built machine.
I know the market is tough right now for this, but I still really want a new computer to celebrate my 30th birthday in a few hours. My budget is about 1500 with some room for change. I already have 16GB of RAM in my PC that should be usable.
Thank you all so much for your help!

It sounds like you're planning to construct a new PC and would customize the components yourself. You'd avoid using salvaged RAM from a faulty machine, as it could introduce similar issues into your new build. Taking this approach increases stability and performance in the long run.

1500 offers a solid budget if you're excluding peripherals and monitors. Your signature style provides a useful benchmark. 3080s are difficult to locate, so you might need to wait before purchasing one unless you find a ready-made option.
