Hi, I can assist with case fans. What do you need help with?
I recently purchased a new case with RGB lighting. It came with cables, but the fans aren’t working—lights turn on when I power up the PC, yet the fans remain still. There are three fans connected together, but four connectors are loose. Two seem to be extra fans, and the other two power the motors, though their locations aren’t clear. They don’t link to the sysfan port. Could you help me figure this out? Thanks a lot!
The bottom-left section uses RGB. The left and top areas also appear in RGB, while the right side seems to be fans. It seems there are no additional cables involved. Are you connecting a fan controller and using a specific case?
It appears the RGB lights are functioning correctly and powered via SATA cable. The fans aren't spinning, possibly due to a wiring issue or incorrect connection. The unit model is IONZ KZ -9 00 with a H610m-E motherboard. I only have the SATA cable for the fans, not additional adapters. You might need help identifying the correct fan connector type.
I just got the new one today. The case has three fans, and all their wires seem to be linked together. Sorry, I haven’t really worked with fans before—I thought it’d be easier than it is. But yeah, they’re all connected in a chain, and at the end, those are the remaining connectors.
It’s straightforward, but it looks like your fans aren’t connected in a standard way. You can safely disconnect them and capture the connector images if needed.
Sure, I'll review it and gather the photos in about five minutes. Thanks!
It's working now, though the sys connector was tricky to describe—it ended up in an unexpected spot within the loop. Thanks a lot for your assistance; it means a lot.
