Your PC keeps restarting only when you're not playing, but games running in the background don't trigger it. Let's figure out why.

There might be several causes. By default, Windows may try to install updates and restart to finish them. This typically occurs after the system has been idle for a while. You can adjust settings in Windows Update to prevent installations if needed. If not, it could indicate a faulty driver or hardware issues. An unstable power supply might cause the system to restart to reset or because your CPU or GPU is overheating. Give more information about your hardware and the duration of these problems. Are your BIOS settings current? Is there overclocking enabled besides boost? Do background applications run when the system is idle?

Also review the Event Viewer for other issues like a WHEA-Logger error or any additional problems, not just the shutdown event.
