Hey, your computer tends to freeze right when you begin a game, even though it works well under heavy load.
Hello, my PC (Ryzen 5 3600, RX580, latest Windows 11) runs perfectly in all situations except gaming. I seldom play games, so this problem hasn’t been a priority for a while now. It crashes right away when I start a game, but functions normally otherwise. I recently updated the chipset and GPU drivers from AMD, yet nothing helped. What caught my attention is that it previously worked a few months ago but suddenly stopped. The machine would make a clicking sound every few seconds during heavy use (possibly power supply), yet still operated. After a crash, I restarted it immediately and it worked again. However, the BIOS setting seems to automatically power on the PC when it receives power, which might explain the Windows error log showing nothing relevant. I don’t see any BSOD or other messages, only an unexpected shutdown. So far, I’ve checked the following (please verify): - Power supply issues: stress tests show GPU uses full power while starting Warframe, but under load PSU draws less - Driver problems: both chipset and GPU are brand new Win11 versions - Overheating: temperatures stay within safe limits per heat sensors, stress test didn’t report GPU heat issues - Conflicting background apps: I disabled auto-start features like wallpaper engine and audio drivers before trying, but it still crashed quickly I’m sorry, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
It seems like the power supply is showing signs of failure, possibly with a damaged brand or insufficient wattage.
