Worked properly last night before shutdown; won’t start this morning. We changed graphics cards, toggled power settings, adjusted cables and ports, tested various power supplies, removed RAM and reinserted it—still can’t get the diagnostic tool to launch. Mobo: ASRock B550M Pro4 | CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X | GPU: EVGA 3090ti (non-overclocked) | PSU: EVGA 850 G2 Supernova | RAM: G.Skill Trident Z 32GB (8x4 3200). Question: Is the monitor connected to the correct video input and powered through the GPU? Answer: Yes. Regarding the boot process: a small row of about four LEDs flashes when trying to start. It seems to display a sequence of two-digit codes—either a boot prompt or VGA/VGA mode. Q: If the CPU includes integrated graphics and you connect directly to the motherboard, does the monitor appear? A: Yes. He checked HDMI and display ports, but nothing worked. He managed to get it to show up in BIOS briefly when the bootable drive was removed; turning it off and back on didn’t help. Any advice or support would be invaluable.

The process involves checking if a reset was performed, performing a power cycle by unplugging and briefly pressing the power button, and verifying if a different SSD is being used.

The 5700x lacks built-in graphics support. All AM5 processors currently include integrated graphics, though any AMD chip in the 5xxx series or earlier must have a "G" at the end of its part number to qualify. The 5700g does support them, but the others—5700g, 5600g, and 5600x—do not.

It seems the device restarts with no display. I experienced the same when my old PC was on for a few hours while researching fixes. It gave a beep and booted up successfully afterward. Maybe it’s clearing memory, which can sometimes take time. It shouldn’t last more than two hours, but it did for mine.

I observed this before with a laptop—everyone thought it was dead, except one person who said, "Let's wait." After five hours, it suddenly worked perfectly, like nothing had happened.

It seems the system is still loading, so I’ll follow what others suggested and just wait to see how it progresses. We already reset the CMOS and left it for more than an hour. He mentioned he’d drain the capacitors and restart it, and we also swapped in a different SSD, but it didn’t work either. We’re planning to try that next. Thanks!

I'm sorry, I didn't understand it was just a question someone asked. I've sent it over for reference in case it comes up again.

Check if the graphics card fits your system and see how it performs when both are installed together.
