It seems valid but using two SSDs in RAID would significantly lower the cost per gigabyte.

I don't really understand that. An SSD would work perfectly for me, or even a PCIe SSD!

You could install the game on your SSD for faster loading times. It seems you might already be limited by insufficient RAM to store many games at once.
