Ubisoft often deceives; that’s obvious. Don’t accept their words or demonstrations. Hold off until the release date, never preorder. If it works, take it; if not, skip it.

It could have been that easy, yet those visuals only scratch the surface. Just because they appear in an E3 teaser doesn’t guarantee they’re ready for a stable release. There’s likely much more effort behind it than you imagine. I won’t excuse Ubisoft—clearly they understand their role and it’s reckless if not intentional. Still, customers should be aware before purchasing based on trailers. If you follow this advice and feel let down, my sympathy is limited. These companies (and others) prioritize what drives sales, so it’s wise to be more cautious with your spending.
