I'm dealing with Ubuntu on a laptop and using KDE Plasma with LightDM as the default. LightDM and sudo activate the webcam for Howdy, though the lock screen in Plasma won't trigger it. I've tried searching online, adjusting configuration files, and tweaking settings, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. Anyone have any experience with this?

Ensure LightDM functions properly with Plasma 5. Set up SDDM and activate it using the commands provided.

I saw a document about this for the first time. It mentions both distributions running with systemd, suggesting they might be quite alike.
