Hey guys, I'm having trouble with OBS when it comes to recording this specific game I love. It just seems really hard for OBS to grab the video properly. I'm stuck on figuring out how to get a perfect 1080p (30 or 60 frames per second) clip of War Thunder. Every other game I play, my computer is super happy handling high quality with no problems at all. But this specific game feels like it's either dropping the frame rate or making the recordings look terrible for sure. I can't find that perfect middle ground where everything works well.

I play games like Hell Let Loose which use a lot of system resources, and I've been able to get 1080p 60fps there without issues. War Thunder just feels like it forces me down two paths: either the framerate goes way down or the picture quality is bad. I am really trying to find that sweet spot where both look great and run smoothly.

Here is my current setup for recording on War Thunder with OBS:
* Codec: x264
* Quality Level (CRF): 23
* Preset: Faster
* Profile/Tune: No profile or tune set

This has been the best I've done so far in terms of getting good frame rate and resolution, but it still feels bad compared to my recordings from other games. I also tried turning on the NVENC (New) encoder for encoding, but since I'm playing at maximum graphics settings, it seems like it's hurting the recording a lot. So I lowered my graphics to medium speed, but the result was just as bad as when I had them at max.

I don't have any other programs running in the background except maybe a couple of tabs open in Edge and Steam. Maybe someone can help me? I've tried looking at online guides and studying how rate controls work, but I still can't seem to figure it out. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give!
