My computer attempts to start but after a few seconds it fails to show any video output and the GPU becomes unresponsive. Occasionally it boots into Windows Recovery and indicates that Windows failed to load properly. I've tried various troubleshooting steps, but nothing has resolved the issue. It also appears to display only at 600×800 resolution. I'm unsure what to do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. CPU: i5 8th gen, GPU: GTX 1650 from Gigabyte, Motherboard: Z390, PSU: Corsair 750.
Removing your graphics card and relying on the integrated graphics of an i5 works normally.
I grew tired of the same setup and gave it a different GPU, but it didn’t help. I moved my GPU to another computer and it functioned properly.
I experienced a comparable issue but can't recall the exact steps, though I think it might relate to your Windows installation. If you know how to access the command prompt in the recovery menu, run sfc /scannow and allow it to complete. Afterward, restart the system; if that doesn't help, return to the recovery prompt and type chkdsk (system drive letter): /r to fix any boot drive errors. One of those options let me start Windows without issues.
I handled everything possible I could think of—disassembled and reassembled my PC. Inspected all cables, rechecked the RAM, CPU, GPU connections, and reset the PSU. Still nothing works. Here’s a photo of the issue, though it appears to stop right after no signal is detected.
Avoid swapping the RAM occasionally, as it might affect the system startup.
