Hey there, I need some help please!
I bought this 2022 Asus M16 about six months ago (it has an i9-12900k and an RTX 3070ti). It worked great for a long time, but lately the GPU is getting hot even when I play games. The CPU stays cool, hovering around high 60s to low 70s. But the GPU hits 87 degrees in seconds after starting the game or changing settings. I can't figure it out because it feels strange. It doesn't make sense that this happens every time I start a new game. I opened it up and cleaned the fans and vents three or four times, took them all out, but there is no dust left inside. I also swapped out the GPU fan for another 6400 rpm one because the old one was buzzing, but nothing helps the temperature at all. The only thing I haven't tried yet is repasting just to replace the liquid metal on the CPU; if that causes problems with my GPU cooling, you can tell me! If anyone has ideas or tips please let me know. Thanks a lot. P.S I changed the manual profile settings to no overclocking and thermal target 87 degrees. I tried sitting it in the freezer (which is bad advice but I wanted more of a chance) with everything at minimum speed and fans spinning full blast, and it still throttles.

I believe using a repaste will be really helpful for you right now.
