I considered it an endearing detail initially, though I won’t rely on it often.

Even the top-rated OS from Microsoft included this capability! It actually debuted in Windows Vista! (Vista isn't such a bad guy)

It definitely isn't and would likely hurt most of my coworkers' PCs because the low-end mobile CPUs have such poor performance, and air cooling has been a real headache for them. I’m a bit embarrassed I didn’t catch on sooner... :v

I favor the small preview alerts on the taskbar. OR, managing several windows on different monitors. Not someone stuck with one screen. #MultiMonitorMAsterRace #DesktopMasterRace

I believed it could be handled on Windows 8 using the Win key and tabbing, though perhaps I was focusing on my Windows 7 setup.

In Windows 10, pressing Win+Tab now functions like ALT+Tab previously

Interesting detail, this tool lets you check refresh rates, which is useful—I remember boosting my monitor to 75Hz and noticing the change versus 60Hz.

That was feature in Vista...? And before that it was feature on both Mac OS and Linux. In Vista I had Aero turned off because it was just that feature. In Win7 I have some of Aero features turned off but I like the preview bit. Here's oldie video mocking Vista:
