Hey guys, do I even need to buy a new CPU for this? What temp is actually okay when people say "OC"? I think my computer can handle overclocking because I tried it before using the MCI command center. Doesn't that mean my setup is OC compatible? And yes, I have OC options in my BIOS menu too.
You don't have any overclocking options on this computer because it only works with your CPU's built-in speeds, and you can't go higher than that.
Having a list of parts and what kind of computer you have could be helpful.

It's a good point, but that isn't enough to see what you're working with. Your power supply and cooler matter way more than just looking at one part of it.
