I wanted to know if I could achieve a 144Hz refresh rate on my monitor using this cable. My graphics card would connect to the monitor via DisplayPort, and I’d use DVI for my second screen. The reason I'm asking is that when I tried the cable with a different computer, it worked perfectly. Plus, both of my graphics cards work flawlessly with the second monitor connected through DVI.
Just curious, what resolution does your monitor support? If you’re aiming for 1080p at a high refresh rate – like 144 frames per second – you’d likely need an adapter to connect it, specifically a DP-to-DVI converter. Those adapters can be pretty pricey, running around $100 or so.
