PC is operating smoothly. Added Corsair Commander Pro, Lighting Node, and RGB Hub to enhance fan illumination. Every time I reassembled everything, the system would freeze on the UEFI screen (pressing F2 or DELETE) but wouldn’t enter it. Eventually, I unplugged all new components and booted again—nothing happened. I removed the motherboard entirely, took out the CMOS battery (my unit doesn’t use the standard press-in type), and re-energized the CLRCMOS chip. After reconnecting everything, not even the initial screen display remained visible—it was completely black. I tried updating the BIOS via USB (since EZ Flash isn’t accessible), waited 30 minutes, and the green indicator stayed lit. Manuel suggested turning on the PC to reset the issue, which is what I’m doing now. I’ve verified all cables and connections are intact. As expected, the keyboard, mouse, fans, and motherboard indicator light stayed green, indicating everything is functioning. All parts are six years old. The system runs on a ROG STRIX B550I-GAMING Ryzen 5 3600 with Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB, 3600Mhz, H100i, and Nvidia 2060 RTX Super.

Use a paper clip and connect it to the green and black wires on the motherboard. If the PSU fan starts, continue; if it doesn’t, your PSU is likely dead and you should replace it. Find a tutorial on testing PSU health.

Is there an issue with the motherboard? Have you reached out to ASUS about this?

Which port did you connect the commander to on the Mobo?

I haven't reached out to Asus yet about the problem. I planned to troubleshoot on my own and check if anyone in the community knows what’s going on. Sadly, I realized this might be a bigger issue. What happened? Didn’t I do something wrong? I’m really confused right now. Thanks for your reply, @Alireza—wouldn’t you know if this falls under the manufacturer’s warranty?

The leader arrived with a Sata power cord and a USB 2.0 cable. I connected the USB 2.0 port on the commander directly into the only available USB 2.0 port on the mainboard.

asus offers the top customer support I’m aware of, though it seems the commander pro might have had an issue with an unusual power cycle. I noticed something similar while setting up the aura sync hub, but my motherboard held up and is quite different from yours. It looks like the uefi bios crashing and failing to boot might have been resolved by simply restarting. I’m currently using the Maximus XII Furmula.

You might have disturbed some cables or caused a short circuit. It’s best to remove the board and test the system outside the case to see if it functions there. If it works then investigate whether anything is touching it incorrectly or where it shouldn’t be. Troubleshooting will be simpler if it’s not a major issue. It seems like something simple is likely, since everything else appears normal. Did you connect the monitor to the GPU?

It's good to hear that. I'm hoping Asus will assist with this and that connecting it didn't cancel any warranty. Probably the power cycle was the right approach, since I don't see any way I could have triggered a short circuit. It seems like the only next step is to reach out to customer service. Thanks for your advice.

I've inspected all cables, removed the monitor and reinserted it (sorry, I tend to overthink things and didn't test outside the case). I've checked the monitor to GPU connection and the MB itself, even though I don't have an APU or CPU, just trying everything. I also attempted HDMI instead of DSP cable without success. Maybe I'll remove the MB again and test it outside the case. Thanks for the advice!
