My laptop HP Notebook has these specs: 14-cf1009ni, 16gb RAM plus 4gb of memory, a 512gb SSD with an I5 processor (8265U), and Radeon R7 M440 graphics. It runs Windows 11 version 22H2. The problem is that the dedicated GPU driver won't install properly because this card is so basic it might not be faster than my Intel integrated one. Device Manager shows "excamation" on the drive, though GPU-Z says it's a Radeon R7 M440. I downloaded the HP driver and tried AMD's direct download, but neither worked. I don't know where to get the right driver for this situation.

The R7 M440 is meant for Windows 10 and older, which could be why it has trouble working with newer versions like Windows 11. You can try getting the AMD driver for Windows 10 from their site here. If that doesn't work, you might attempt to get a different driver from this link but please do so at your own risk.

I have tested both of those options and neither one is working well. Thanks for giving me a tip. Is there anything else I can try, or does the Radeon card not function properly on Windows 11?

It might not be perfectly compatible. You could find drivers online that work with Windows 11, but these are often not the best choice because they can lead to other problems too.
