The issue seems linked to your HDMI connection. Your monitor uses 165 Hz, which is standard for most displays. Make sure your HDMI cable and port are functioning properly. Also check if the game or settings are adjusting the refresh rate unexpectedly.

Thanks for the note. This explains the FPS drops, so I need to purchase a mini display port because my laptop uses a mini display or an adapter from mini to DisplayPort.
