Hey everyone,
I just found out that Valorant from Riot Games doesn’t need as much power as I thought it would. As a pretty casual PC gamer with an older system, I was hoping to give it a shot. Turns out, I meet all the requirements – except for the graphics card part. My Nvidia GPU is pretty old (a GT 330 with only 1GB of VRAM), so I was wondering if it supports DirectX 9 and 10, or if it only works with newer versions.
P.S. If anyone knows if my GPU will even run the game, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks so much.
DirectX is based on what OS you're running and not (necessarily) the graphics card. Since the game will run on the Intel HD 3000 integrated graphics (DirectX10 - Vista/7/8), it should run on your graphics card which natively supports DirectX11.1 (10).
It will probably run, but not very well.

I checked your graphics card specs – it looks like it supports DirectX 11.1, according to TechPowerUp’s review: [https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/nv...x-3060-ti/.](https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/nv...x-3060-ti/). It’s a pretty compact card, measuring just mm² and packing 754 million transistors. Based on that, it should definitely handle Valorant without a problem. However, the game’s website isn't super specific about its requirements, so honestly, it seems like a no-brainer to just give it a try. It’s free to play, so you won't lose anything except maybe a little bit of your time if it doesn’t work out.
