Hey, I have a 3060 ti and my hash rate isn't as fast as I thought it should be. Can you help me fix this?
I recently tried to mine on my gaming PC and found out that my hash rate is much lower than I expected for a 3060ti (which should be around 60MH/s). The settings I used only gave me about 40MH/s. If I try lowering the memory clock, the hashrate goes down even more. Here are the specs: GPU: Gigabyte 3060ti Eagle 8GB OC rev1.0 Mobo: Msi B450 Pro Carbon Max Wifi OS: Windows 10 Miner: Phoenix miner Settings: -300 core clock +1500 mem clock 65% power limit Any kind of help is appreciated, thanks!
Do you want to know about Phoenix Miner from this site or do you need their hardware specs like power supply unit details (make, model, wattage), when it was made and if it's in good shape? Do you also need to see the RAM configuration and how much memory they have used, plus what processor is inside the machine and which hard drive(s) are installed, including their brand, model size, and current fill level?
I downloaded the newest version of Phoenix Miner from that link. I also tried the T-rex miner and got similar hash rates. My power supply is a 750W Cooler Master MWE gold, which was only about four months old. My RAM comes in two blocks of 8GB with CL16 at 3600Mhz. My CPU is a Ryzen 5 3600 and my hard drive is a Sandisk 1TB SSD labeled as 3D Ultra (it has 395GB free).
Check your computer's performance by running both Resource Monitor and Task Manager at the same time, but only one at a time. Make sure they open while you are logged in as Administrator. First, let your computer cool down and just watch how things work without any new stuff happening. Then start the mining program and keep watching. What happens? Maybe you'll find out what changes if there is anything different. It might take some trial and error to figure out which tools and how to set up your Windows settings. Then try it all over again as you experiment with the choices.
