Hey, I just bought a new graphics card called an RTX 5070 TI from my old GTX 970. But my CPU is an Intel i7-10700K and it is used at 100% capacity by the new card. It crashes and restarts all the time. So now I have to upgrade everything else. I use this computer for editing Photoshop and playing heavy games like Warzone where FPS really matters or other fun games that are very demanding. The case is a NZXT Source 340 mid-tower. My monitor is an ASUS VG278Q (I might change it later). The power supply is a Seasonic Core GX-650, which is a 650-watt, 80 Plus Gold-certified, fully modular PSU that supports PCIe Gen 5. My budget for all parts is between 900 and 1000 euros. If the price drops below 900 euros, it would be better if I went to around 1200 euros instead. I will buy everything from this site: https://www.custompc.com.cy/ These guys build my PC and I will buy parts from them and they will install them too. My country is Cyprus. I really need you to visit that site or tell me what products are in stock there, or make a shopping card with your own suggestions but just write down the names if you prefer. The CPU should be Intel (or any AMD suggestion works). RAM: 64 GB. Motherboard: Any that fits well with my other parts. SSD: NVMe? Preferred size is between two to four terabytes. Tower case: Just suggest one if it fits perfectly with my other parts. I just want the best setup so my RTX 5070 TI works properly with compatible parts, all without bottlenecks. Thank you so much in advance!

Welcome everyone! I just upgraded my old GTX 970 to an RTX 5070 Ti card. Did you check if you had the newest BIOS on your board? Did you run DDU in Safe Mode to delete all drivers from Intel, AMD, and Nvidia before installing the latest one from AMD's website using a right-click command? Your power supply is a Seasonic Core GX-650 ATX 3.0, which is rated at 650 watts with an 80 Plus Gold cert and supports PCIe Gen 5 specs. How old is that power supply in your build? Even if it brand new, you don't need one because you're below the requirements for a 5070 Ti card. You should've had a 750W or higher PSU when you swapped out the RTX 5070 Ti. What are the temperatures for both CPU and GPU right now? Use HWInfo to watch them. When posting about a problem, it's normal to list your full system specs. Please include these details: CPU, cooler, motherboard, RAM, SSD or HDD, GPU, PSU, case, OS, monitor, age of the PSU besides make/model, BIOS version for your board right now. Also moved this thread from Components section to Systems section.

For a GTX 1070 Ti, you need at least a 750-watt power supply. Start by upgrading yours if needed. What do you currently have for memory? If you're using four sticks of RAM, try cutting them down to just two (or one instead). Check that your hard drives are working properly too. Use HD Tune to see if they need fixing. Run Memtest86 to make sure your RAM is solid.

I was supposed to buy just one piece: the GPU. But that didn't work because all the other parts can't handle my new card, so I decided to build a whole new PC instead. I already bought the RTX 5070 Ti. Now I need help buying the rest. Can you tell me if they will fit together well without bottlenecks or problems? Here are the parts I listed: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D at 5.0 GHz on the AM5 socket Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M AORUS Elite AX (rev.1.1) with an AMD B650 chip Socket: AM5 Case: Jonsbo TK-3 ATX case in white CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5 Fan: be quiet! Silent Wings 4 Pro fan for the tower, 140mm black blade PC storage (SSD): Western Digital Black SN850X, fast NVMe M.2 drive with Type 2 connector, size 2280 and 2TB capacity RAM (Memory): G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5-6000 CL30 AMD EXPO with 64 GB in a black kit Power Supply: Seasonic Vertex GX 80 Plus Gold that is modular, supports ATX layout, has PCIe 5.0 capability, and provides up to 850 watts for power. Graphics Card (GPU): ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with solid state memory inside, 16384 MB total, using GDDR7 technology I already have this Power Supply: Seasonic Core GX-650 at ATX size, 650W rating, 80 Plus Gold efficiency, and it is fully modular. Is my current power supply compatible with all the other parts including the GPU? Should I get a different one instead? Also, if you think this build is bad or doesn't match up well, how would you rate it out of 10 on the scale provided? If things are not working together properly, please tell me what to do. Thanks so much in advance!

Stick with just one topic so your ideas don't get mixed up.

That isn't from the site you clicked on, this looks like it's from a German site. You should look for a board that works with PCIe 5.0 because your GPU supports it. The B850 boards support PCIe 5.0 for the graphics card as well as some of the B650 ones, like the Asus ROG B650.
